The comeback nobody scheduled. A single streamer reunion pushed lobby counts up sharply, and the model flagged unusual evening-hour acceleration across three regions at once — the signature of coordinated friend-group play.
4. Valheim
The slowest burn on this list. No spike, just a steady upward drift in players and a rising share of reviews from returning players. The radar calls this pattern Rising — it rarely makes headlines, and it's often the most durable growth of all.
5. The Outlast Trials
Heating up on the back of a seasonal event. The interesting signal wasn't raw growth but retention: players who joined for the event kept logging in after it ended, which is the difference between a promotion and a moment.
A spike tells you a game had a good week. Retention tells you it earned one.
